A Software Commissioning Engineer travels to customer site locations for project commissioning, playing a crucial role in the integration and testing of systems. This role involves working closely with company-owned technology and various fields to ensure magnificent system integration.
By working proactively within a Customer-Oriented Software Team, the engineer supports the team through coaching and identifies and executes tests to assess the proper functioning of software systems and their integration with components; develop and implement corrective modifications for both software systems and physical components, ensuring smooth operation.
Additionally, the engineer drives end-to-end tasks onsite by communicating issues and collaborating with other teams, always prioritizing onsite safety improvement. Resolve customer questions and participate in minor, focused training sessions, actively supporting new commissioners during their onsite onboarding.

Tasks and Qualifications:

This is What you Will Do in This Role:

Work along with remote Software team performing on-site testing or support.Work along with Controls team sharing communication and messaging information between systems.Connect with Leadership team any near-miss or safety violation.Answer customer question, provide customer training and stand by support reaching for a mentor if needed.Assist with ATP (Acceptance Test Plan), UAT (User Acceptance Test) and VST (Volume Stress Test).Support new commissioners on site.Ensure commissioning activities are completed on time according to project needs.Upload SAP hours on time.Upload expense reports on time.

What We Are Looking For:

Bachelor degree or equivalent experience (Preferred in Mechatronics or Computer Science engineering or a related field)Sophisticated English (Written and Oral)1+ year of work experience in software engineering or a similar area.Conceptual knowledge of programing language (C/C++, Java, SQL).Conceptual Knowledge of Continuous Improvement Methodology.Microsoft 365 Skills (Word and Excel).Software Testing Experience.Desired Smoke Test experienceManufacturing area knowledge.Dematic Values knowledge.PPE and Safety Practices knowledge.Customer support experience desired Strong interpersonal skills
