Leidos is seeking a Software Center Configuration Manager to join the National Security Sector’s Software Center to work with a small agile team, to help define and promote Software culture within NSS. As part of the National Security Software Center’s initiatives to improve program health and professional development, we are seeking a full-time hire to support the implementation, configuration management and ongoing success of new tools, processes and policies across the sector, including the implementation and continuous improvement of a sector wide Resource Management System (RMS).
This role will work with the SWC Resource Management Lead to support the roll out of RMS across software programs, which includes gathering requirements, as well as identifying and implementing enhancements to the application, and business processes to help drive early adoption of the application. An ideal candidate should have experience working with Line managers and enterprise IT representatives, as well as an understanding of current Leidos program management processes. Experience with TrackVia RMS or other low code/no code applications are preferred.
The ideal candidate will combine experience with project management, data integration, stakeholder engagement, and user feedback, as well as a passion for pushing through red tape and thinking outside of the box, to move the needle on exciting and impactful initiatives.
Note: Although this role is remote, ability to commute to the GHQ in Reston, Virginia on occasion is preferred.
Primary Responsibilities
Lead the implementation and configuration of the resource management system to meet the specific needs of various program teams.Collaborate with program and project teams to understand their resource management needs and provide solutions within the system.Provide ongoing support for the application, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving issues in a timely manner.Work with CIO RMS team to Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot the resource management application to ensure it operates smoothly and efficiently.Work with CIO RMS team to ensure that user permissions, roles, and access controls are correctly configured and maintained.Work closely with CIO and Software Centers Architects to integrate the resource management system with other tools and systems as needed.Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data requirements and ensure smooth integration into the RMS.Develop and maintain user documentation, training materials, and user guides to assist teams in using the system effectively, as well as work to provide 1:1 and group trainings when needed.Support Resource Management Lead in daily operations and ensure stakeholder buy-in and system adoption.Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field and 8+ years of experience.Proven experience as a system administrator or resource management administrator, preferably with hands-on experience in implementing and supporting resource management applications.Experience gathering requirements, creating user story creation.Experience with scripting or automation tools to enhance system functionality is a plus.Familiarity with use-cases, user stories, and the day-to-day needs of resource management systems.Proficiency in data cleaning, data transformation, and data integration processes.Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure the success of the system roll-out.Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to evolving priorities.High degree of resourcefulness with the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independentlyAbility to obtain TS/SCI security clearanceUS Citizenship is required for this positionPreferred Qualifications:

Pay Range:Pay Range $89,700.00 - $162,150.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
