As a Software Architect, you will play a central role in the design, development, and delivery of back and front-end systems for Willis Towers Watson. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Continuous Delivery and SOLID architecture and a strong background in building scalable systems using C#/.NET, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript using a Scrum/Agile development methodology.
As a senior member of the development team, we are looking for someone to be a mentor to others, an advocate of best practices, and an active coach across the organization. We look for self-starters who thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment – which means wearing many hats, being able to change direction quickly, and showing an eagerness to learn new technologies as the need arises. In this role you work with on a collaborative team of engineers – so excellent interpersonal and communication skills are also a must.

10+ years of experience in producing software; last 2-4 contributing at a Senior or Principal levelExpert-level experience with at least C# and the .NET runtime and JavaScriptExpert experience with TDD, SOLID design, SOA, scalabilityOrganize and prioritize individual workload in order to meet required deadlinesCommunicate effectively with team members, team leads, and on occasion with clientsWork as a member of a team, accept ownership of work and actively contribute to team discussionsExcellent decision-making skillsEOE, including disability/vets
