Job Description

We are looking for a Software Application Resident Engineer for our location Sakarya,

 

Your tasks:

Represent ZF throughout software and hardware integration programs on-site at the customer and provide guidance and/or expertise for all technical and business-related issues. Serve as a technical liaison to the customer for hardware and software functional changes and change management processes. Provide clarification and technical explanation of ZF product specifications, calibration solutions, and component functions. Coordinate overarching project activities in the application of the software of our products, support software and hardware program deliveries by tracking action items, program timing, and software/calibration releases. Specify the technical requirements and work content for the transferred application tasks.  Carry out further development and parameterization of the drive train software of functions or module groups with numerous influencing variables, considering the effects on the overall system and the project goals. Ensure the overall functionality and installation of the components (high-voltage systems) on the target vehicle at the customer's site. Perform root cause analysis and error correction of problems related to SW, mechanical parts, electronics, sensors and wiring, support root cause investigations and special testing. Support “Early Warring” and field monitoring activities as well as checking (validating) the software according to specifications as well as evaluating and interpreting the data provided

 

Your profile:

Degree in electrical engineering – preferred in electric / electronics / computer science with at least 6 years of professional experience in application development. Knowledge and experience of the tools of CANape/CANalyzer (Vector), knowledge in Matlab/Simulink and model-based SW design are an advantage. Good analytical skills combined with a comprehensive understanding of processes, structured working methods, initiative, organizational and team spirit. Confident and reliable demeanor in contact with the customer and R&D team in Friedrichshafen  Ability to be the face to the customer on site for the majority of time as well as willingness to travel (10%) Truck/bus driver's license is a plus (or else it must be obtained) Good written and spoken Turkish and English skills, German is an advantage.
