Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Facilities Management Specialist to ensure a safe, comfortable, and efficient work environment for our employees and visitors. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining high standards of safety and comfort.
Key Responsibilities:
Safety and Comfort:
Prioritize and implement safety measures throughout the facilityConduct regular safety audits and risk assessmentsEnsure a comfortable work environment for employees and visitorsEvent Preparation:
Plan and execute all necessary preparations for meetings, conferences, and VIP visitsCoordinate with relevant departments to ensure smooth event operationsOperational Oversight:
Manage mailroom, front office, and housekeeping operationsPerform daily check-ins around the front office and lobby to maintain high standardsQuickly identify and resolve any operational issues or mix-upsVendor Management:
Review vendor services regularlyCoordinate with vendors to resolve service issues promptlyMaintain positive relationships with service providersContinuous Improvement:
Provide input and ideas to enhance facility performanceImplement and monitor improvement initiativesTeam Leadership:
Set up and lead teams to achieve operational excellenceFoster a collaborative work environmentQualifications:
Bachelor's degree in any discipline; tertiary qualifications in hotel management, building management, or business are advantageous5-7 years of experience in facilities managementStrong understanding of safety protocols and regulationsExcellent problem-solving and decision-making skillsOutstanding communication and interpersonal abilitiesProven leadership experience and team management skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamFlexibility to work in various locations within the facilityProficiency in relevant facilities management software and toolsPersonal Attributes:
