Social Worker or Psychologist - Wellness GME Liaison - Southeast Michigan

Job Summary In collaboration with the Manager of GME Well-being, Well-Being Specialists, Director of Physician and APP Well-being and other supporting functions within Well-Being and the GME, this person will function as a trusted advocate and resource for Program Directors and the DIO in support of residents and fellows within their region. Responsible for building strong relationships and establishing themselves as a trusted and safe place for providing mentoring/coaching for the GME as well as serve as a consultant to the Program Directors. Additionally, this role will be the bridge to residents and fellows to established well-being resources throughout the organization as well as creating necessary content and education to ensure the ability for the residents/fellows to thrive. Responsibility of meeting the ACGME well-being program requirements is also key. Contributing to the overarching strategy for GME well-being locally as well as collaborating with other GME Liaisons and leaders across the enterprise will be necessary to realize the full potential of the program. Concurrently, increase awareness and accessibility to programs and services available to residents and fellows that support positive work-life habits, self-care, mental health awareness, and holistic well-being. + In combination with the DIO and GMEC, highlight criteria and ensure ACGME compliance for policy and program requirements. + Provide consultations and resources to Program Directors and DIO addressing concerns, issues, and opportunities to support resident/fellow well-being. + Collaborate in the development of GME Well-being strategy to assess needs, design programming and measure program effectiveness. + Serve as a content expert for individual and program-based interventions that support and develop both the individual and collective well-being and resiliency skills of resident and fellows. + Assist in the development, facilitation and implementation of well-being curriculum for residents and fellows, leveraging the support of resources within OPAF, Be-Well, and all well-being programming. + Oversee the rollout, reporting and data interpretation of the annual Well-Being Index tool for regional GME. Identify high risk teams and assist in targeted interventions. + Evaluates effectiveness of specific well-being interventions through various metrics including culture change, Well-being Index (WBI), engagement, participation, satisfaction, etc.; contributing to the system dashboard. + Participate in resident/fellow orientation and partner with EAP (Ulliance) to inform and establish Well-Being visit. + Attend various committee meetings (e.g. GMEC, PD Council, House Staff Council, etc.) and check-ins with co-chairs to discuss current well-being programs, obtain feedback for potential programming and needs, and information for curriculum building. Conduct meetings/groups as necessary. + Actively seeks to stay current with trends and best practices within Wellbeing, making amendments and improvements to the program accordingly. As well as create national recognition for Corewell Health through presentation at national conferences and various awards. Qualifications + Required Bachelor's Degree in worksite well-being, Behavioral Health, Business/Operations or associated health-related field OR + Required Master's Degree Clinical Masters/PhD + Preferred Master's Degree MD/DO from an accredited institution + 5 years of relevant experience in clinical care, well-being, strategy, or experience with physicians is required + Leading and developing team members is required + Technical knowledge of health and insurance/wellbeing benefits is preferred + Special focus on emotional well-being and burnout is preferred + LIC-Psychologist - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required Or + LIC-Physician (MD) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required Or + LIC-Osteopathic Physician (DO) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required This is where extraordinary begins.
