Facilitates and coordinates communication between patient, family, and treatment team.  Provides Psycho-Social History per standards and within prescribed time limits; provides family/marital therapeutic interventions as prescribed by attending psychiatrist; coordinates linkages between patient, family and community resources maximizing best utilization of patient/ family resources.  Acts with minimal supervision and exercises best clinical judgment as well as seeks direction when appropriate from psychiatrist, director, and other team members.  Acts within boundaries and guidelines of the Covenant Health System's defined values and professional ethics.

Required Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited graduate school of social work. 2 years Psychiatric or related field experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced Clinical Practice certification from National Social Work Association 5 years Experience in mental health therapeutic treatment modalities of group, family, and marital therapies
