Job Title: School Social Worker Location: Dixon, IL 61021 Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: $52,000 - $62,000 / Hourly: $42.21 - $50.32 Dates: ASAP - June 5th, 2025 AnthroMed Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Social Worker to join our team. This role will focus on supporting students in elementary (K-5th grades) and high school (9th-12th grades) settings. The ideal School Social Worker will work collaboratively with educators, parents, and community resources to enhance student well-being and academic success. You will be part of a supportive team dedicated to enhancing student well-being and academic success. Key Responsibilities: - Provide individual and group counseling to students facing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. - Conduct assessments to identify student needs and develop appropriate intervention plans. - Collaborate with teachers and special education staff to support students with disabilities. - Facilitate communication between students, parents, and school personnel. - Develop and implement programs to promote social skills, resilience, and emotional well-being. - Maintain accurate and confidential records of student progress and interventions. - Participate in IEP meetings and provide insights on student social-emotional needs. - Connect families with community resources and support services.
