Social Media Specialist
Overview As our new Social Media Specialist, you will help us tell our brand and product story through innovative, engaging and culturally-connected social-first storytelling and activations. You will be the person the organization goes to when asking about what’s new in social, what should we be thinking about, and how do we bring our brand and products to life on social not only in Korea, but also in markets around the world. By supporting, driving and implementing our existing global social media strategy with local relevance, you will support the development and execution of industry leading tactics, drive community engagement, influencer partnership, social audience growth and brand loyalty in the Korean local market. As a key Social Media point person for cross-functional campaign planning, you will support integrated, 360 programs, ensuring that our social approach is powerful and aligned across all elements of the program. In addition, you will provide insight into Crocs’ online communities to key departments within the Crocs corporate infrastructure – such as Integrated Marketing, Sales, Product Development and Customer Service. This position requires excellent communication and organizational skills, marketing savvy, connection with pop and social media culture, computer skills and an in-depth knowledge of social media and social media platforms, tools and applications. What You'll Do Content Calendar: Create, vet, curate, plan and schedule amazing channel specific content Content Planning: Lead planning of our social media content calendar for all Go-to-Market and Close-to-Market marketing campaigns, UGC and Influencer activations. Plus take learnings and apply them to our next post or activation. Partner with our Integrated Marketing Specialist to execute, leverage and optimize 360 marketing activation. Work closely with our Graphic Designer to review assets and copy to ensure it hits our brand voice across all posts. Partner with our HR team to continue to build out and execute the Crocs employee branding strategy including managing all LinkedIn posts. Influencer Management: Based on our global influencer marketing strategy, build up social influencers to authentic fans to enhance brand resonance in the local Korean market. Effectively engage with social influencers to support strategic product growth initiatives across target consumer segments during key marketing moments. Activate more mid to micro/organic to ensure we have a constant drumbeat of awareness allowing us to build a solid portfolio of user-generated content. New Media Innovation: Optimize a seamless social experience by exploring and applying new media innovations to support key initiatives, by integrating with Ecom and key platforms Social Media Advertising: Operate and manage paid media and paid posts by partnering with global team as well as agency partner Communicate with global team and agency partners to get well-localized paid media assets for each platform Based on the local plan, set up the sources to launching campaigns timely and optimize it while checking up performance with agency partners Real-time Moments: Social listening and culture connection, identify, monitor and engage with what’s trending Community Management: Support proactive and reactive daily monitoring and engagement on both organic and paid posts Social Customer Service: Partner with our stellar Customer Service Team and agency partner to build processes and ensure a seamless experience for our fans via social channels Reporting: Create and update weekly and monthly reports, analyzing campaigns and product launches Sample and Prize Deliveries: Manage and coordinate the delivery of product samples for content and key campaigns, and prizes for content events and giveaways, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to recipients. What You'll Bring to the Table

The successful candidate will be a self-starter, have demonstrated leadership working in a complex corporate structure and have an ability to communicate with and influence across departmental boundaries to affect positive change. This individual will have the following knowledge, skills and personal characteristics (required):

Bachelor's degree in Marketing or equivalent experience [Creative Writing, Copywriting] A minimum of 3-5 years of full-time experience in social media marketing Good written and spoken English and Korean Strong understanding of social media and the capabilities of different channels including Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc Experience in creating content calendars and schedules for social channels Ability to analyze data and trends across social media and implement that information into our social strategy Keen attention to detail to ensure all planned posts go live as scheduled across correct channels Active use and in-depth knowledge of social media listening and publishing tools An understanding on user behavior and demographics per unique social media platform An eye for spotting social media trends and moments Amazing storytelling, content creation and copywriting skills Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, especially excel and PowerPoint Ability to think fast with sound judgement and decision-making skills A demonstration of being a team player, able to build effective relationships with global, regional marketing and country cross-functional teams Detail-oriented, analytical numerically, inter-personal, creative and open-minded Relevant system qualifications/certifications are a plus Work experience at international company or social media agency is an advantage Overseas education is an advantage
