Job Description

Our innovative digital bank is looking for a creative and strategic Social Media & Content Specialist to lead our content and social media initiatives. This hybrid role requires a dynamic individual who can develop and execute compelling content strategies while also managing our social media presence to drive engagement and brand awareness. This role is essential for shaping our brand narrative and fostering strong connections with our audience across various social media & content platforms.

KEY RESULT AREAS

Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with our brand objectives and resonates with our target audience across digital channels. Produce high-quality, engaging content for various platforms (short and long-form content), including website, email communications, and social media, ensuring consistency and alignment with our brand strategy. Manage our social media presence by creating and curating content, scheduling posts, and driving user-generated content via a loyal and active community. Plan and execute content and social media campaigns to support marketing initiatives, product launches, and brand promotions. Track and analyse content and social media performance using analytics & listening tools, providing regular feedback and insights to business, and optimizing strategies to drive engagement. Work closely with internal teams, including brand, product, and performance marketing, to ensure content and social media efforts are aligned with overall business goals and brand messaging.Provide social media platform expertise & insights to the performance marketing team with regards to ongoing campaigns & marketing strategies.Stay updated on industry trends, emerging platforms, and best practices in content marketing and social media, implementing innovative approaches to enhance our digital presence.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field. At least 5 years of experience in content marketing, with a strong track record of developing and executing successful content strategies. Proficiency in content creation across various formats, including written, visual, and multimedia specifically for social media, website, email communications & online advertising. Expertise in social media content creation and management, with a deep understanding of social media platforms and best practices. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and insights to inform content strategy and optimization. Excellent communication and storytelling abilities, with a keen eye for detail and creativity. Proven project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Social media platform experience across Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Whatsapp, and other relevant channels. Excellent communication and training abilities. Experience with influencer marketing. Professional certifications related to digital marketing or social media (Advantageous). Previous Agency or Fintech experience (Advantageous).
