Social and Activations Specialist

The Specialist of Activations and Social is responsible for participating in the execution and reporting of all brand social and cultural activation activities. The role will partner closely with the Manager of Social and other IMC functions (Advertising & Merchandising), agencies, and cross-functional teams to tap into culture. The ideal candidate for this role will be passionate about social media and have their finger on the pulse of culture and social trends.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Social Strategy, Execution, & Reporting
Support the Manager, Social in the development of the annual brand engagement and organic social channel strategy with the creative agencyMonitor and report on analytics across social channels including usable insights applied to content creation and executionPartner with Advertising, Media Strategy, and Biddable teams to ensure cohesive social boosting execution across channels and platformsPartner with the Guest Support and Brand Reputation Teams to manage customer service / PR related concernsMaintain monthly social media content calendar by scheduling upcoming social media contentSeek out and identify opportunities for the brand to join social conversations in authentic ways that bring positive attention to the Arby’s brandReport on social listening to determine the social conversation around select products and/or promotions using social platforms like SprinklrActivations Strategy & Execution
Support the generation and development of activation ideas that drive engagement and affinity for the Arby’s brandPartner with internal team members to develop an annual activation calendarCollaborate with internal & agency teams to execute experiential events & content captureAssisting with the management of project timelines and status reportsInfluencer Strategy & Execution
Collaborate with PR team on influencer vetting processExecute Arby’s surprise and delight initiatives by engaging with consumers and influencersEDUCATION QUALIFICATION:
Preferred Minimum: 4 year degree
EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION:
1-3 years of relevant experienceREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS OR ABILITIES:
Ability to identify cultural trends and provide recommendations on how to executeDisplays knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and software, specifically SprinklrExcellent project and time management skillsAbility to balance multiple priorities and meet project deadlinesExcellent oral and written communication skillsDemonstrated experience in problem solving and managing multiple tasksPersonal integrity, humility, an appreciation for the power of true teamwork, and a sense of humorSelf-starter personality who can operate with minimal supervision
