Current Need

The SOC Compliance Delivery Manager will support the SOC Compliance team in the management of the activities to support multiple SOC audits and issuance of SOC reports across the enterprise within a large, complex, global security environment. This role will part of the SOC Compliance leadership responsible for ensuring timely delivery of SOC reports, managing the activities with external and internal resources, and improving the operational efficiency of maintaining and sustaining SOC Compliance.

This position will require an individual that is highly collaborative and coordinate with external resources (e.g., external auditors), MT delivery and solution teams, as well as other internal teams executing or supporting SOC controls.

Responsibilities:

Timely delivery of SOC reports

Develops detailed plans, implementation schedules and resource plans. Coordinates activities, defines deliverables and milestones participating in team assignments

Identifies program risks and possible mitigations

Provide strategic advice and tactical direction for the delivery of SOC reports (e.g., planning, preparing, audit support, issuance) and on operational processes

Identifies critical path and dependencies to other ongoing initiatives

Assists with reporting on and maintaining key measures of success for SOC Compliance efforts

Managing the activities with external and internal resources

Coordinate with external auditors to ensure timely completion of SOC audits and SOC report issuance

Partner with key leaders over other compliance efforts (e.g., SOX, HIPAA, and PCI) to identify and gain synergies

Partner with BISOs to align with sub-BUs and Functional BU Divisions to coordinate and prioritize SOC Compliance efforts across their assigned Business Unit(s) (BU) within McKesson

Partner with MT delivery and solution teams leaders, and internal business clients on the coordination of SOC Compliance efforts

Ability to manage personnel indirectly and in a matrixed environment

Assisting with the onboarding, integration, and training of new team members, as needed

Improving the operational efficiency of maintaining and sustaining SOC Compliance

Partner with internal and external auditors to coordinate audit timelines, controls testing and process walkthroughs to streamline impact on the business, align activities, and yield efficiencies

Identifies improvement of program delivery through process optimization and operational excellence. Ability to design, develop or streamline processes with the identification of bottlenecks and process capabilities

Formalizing a change management protocol for scope, product, control or technology changes related to the existing SOC reports and/or the development of new reports.

Develop a framework and manage the work needed for potential product integrations into existing SOC reports, and/or the development of new reports.

Takes the lead in the change management process, anticipates change leadership needs

Minimum Requirements

Typically requires 10+ years of relevant experience

Critical Skills

Tenured, proven track record managing cross-functional projects and teams ranging in size and complexity

Strong ability adapt to change and priorities; driving teams in pivoting efforts to ensure key projects objectives are still met

Demonstrated ability to build high trust relationships with key stakeholders and ability to communicate with senior level executives

Six Sigma Black Belt, Green Belt, or PMP certification

Additional Knowledge & Skills:

Demonstrated leadership, managerial, consultative, collaborative, influencing and negotiation skills

Strong financial and business acumen with ability to create a business case to show value/benefits of project initiatives

Experience with organizational, process and technology projects as well as change leadership best practices

Provides thought leadership gained through research and benchmarking analysis as needed

Demonstrates strong collaborative working relationships

Ability to be flexible and quickly adapt to change and business priorities

Experience with driving multiple priorities and prioritizing across multiple initiatives

Proven ability to coach, mentor and motivate project team members

Exceptional communication skills – written, verbal, presentation, and meeting facilitation

Outstanding organizational skills with high attention to detail

Knowledge of audit life-cycle activities in the IT environment is a plus

Education

Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$132,400 - $220,600
