Role Overview: As an Industrial Engineer (IE) Analytics within the Product and Systems Engineering (PSE) Organization of the Heterogeneously Integrated Group (HIG) at Micron Technology, Inc., you will collaborate with Engineers, Product Development Team Leads, cross-functional Planners, and Program Managers to solve complex problems. Your key responsibilities include conducting deep-dive material movement analysis, modeling demand scenarios, and providing data-backed recommendations on optimal Non-Revenue-Generating (NRG) product demand. You will leverage data-driven insights to enhance our early Engineering Material Supply/Demand strategy and identify opportunities to optimize demand based on yield, cost, and critical milestones.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Develop robust data queries from multiple data sources.

Create multi-purpose dashboard tools for tracking changes in demand forecasts, live scenario modeling, and key team performance metrics.

Analyze data and make data-driven decisions and recommendations to customer groups.

Lead discussions with stakeholders across the Technology & Products Group (TPG), Global Supply Chain (GSC), and Business Units to capture and model HIG product development requirements.

Design and enhance models to enable accurate and effective data representation of HIG PSE product development requirements.

Collaborate with the Product Development Team (PDT) to support requests for modeling demand based on multiple and dynamic variables.

Forecast long-term engineering demand and ensure demand records meet requirements, including special flow requirements and exceptions.

Collaborate with GSC teams to represent HIG product development demand signals through appropriate systems and communications.

Support the definition of optimal logistical flows for evolving engineering solutions, including new product flow definition and attribute creation.

Provide experimental support for Product & Systems Engineering development, such as demand plan scenarios and reflows.

Support and optimize the management of engineering inventory and product line cleanup.

Provide technical training and expertise, including creating and maintaining documentation supporting evolving job functions.

Requirements

Bachelor’s in Engineering relevant field, Software Engineering, or Industrial Engineering (or IE-equivalent degrees) with minimum of 2 years of experience in Business or Engineering Data Analytics.

Advanced knowledge of Query Languages (QL) and Interactive Data Visualization Tools/Dashboards for large volumes of data.

Experience in Database Administration and working knowledge of database schemas, queries, or scripts.

Knowledge of Demand Management processes; HBM experience is a plus.

Strong data analytical background, including data query languages and data visualization tools.

Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

Passion for process optimization, efficiency, and automation.

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to daily changes.

Understanding of capacity planning and forecasting tools and applications.

Strong multitasking and organizational skills, with the ability to make decisions in complex situations.

Ability to delegate tasks and set priorities in a team environment.

Passion for investigating root causes and providing corrective actions for system and quality inefficiencies.

Excellent project management and presentation skills.

Effective communication skills in written and spoken English.

Enthusiasm for collaborating with a variety of cultures and cross-functional teams in a global environment.

Availability to attend evening meetings as needed.
