 We are excited to open our Skilled Nursing Facility and welcome the residents late summer / early fall of 2025. We currently expect this position to begin work in early July 2025. While we aim to secure job offers to fill positions for this new service as soon as possible, please note that start dates may be adjusted if the opening schedule changes.

 

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) delivers nursing care through the use of the nursing process under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN). The LVN is a member of the nursing team who provides technical nursing care to Residents under the supervision of a RN. The LVN may assume charge nurse role in the Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF).

Compensation

Compensation Philosophy:

We have 30 pay increments on our pay scales to compensate staff for 30 years of relevant experience. 

Compensation range:

Experience:

At least one (1) year experience as LVN

Education: 

Current California LVN license.Graduate from an approved LVN program with an associates or equivalent degree.Current CPR Certification.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to apply good clinical judgment, plan work, establish priorities and maintain flexibility.Proficient written and verbal skills.Ability to use a computer proficiently. Responsibilities Organizes and directs shift responsibilities and dutiesParticipate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of resident care.Prepares and administers medications and treatments as ordered by the physicians.Ensure that narcotic records are accurate for your shift.Review medications and completeness of information.
