Job Title: SMT Technician 3 Job Description We are seeking an experienced SMT Technician who can set up machines, troubleshoot, perform basic programming, and handle rework tasks. The ideal candidate will support the entire department with a variety of equipment, including Fuji machines, and work closely with engineers on customer projects. Responsibilities + Set up and operate SMT machines. + Troubleshoot and perform basic programming on SMT machines. + Handle rework tasks involving capacitors and components. + Support the entire department with various equipment. + Assist engineers in executing customer projects and data collection for reports. Essential Skills + Minimum of 3-4 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing/production environment. + High school diploma required; AA or AS degree preferred. + Proficiency in arithmetic, including decimals and fractions. + Intermediate computer skills, including typing, Excel, SAP, and Outlook. + Ability to train others effectively. + Ability to stand or sit for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds. + Fine motor skills for handling small parts and tools. + Close vision, color vision, and depth perception; 20/20 corrected vision may be required. Additional Skills & Qualifications + IPC 610 or J standard certifications (nice to have). + Familiarity with SPC, FMEA, Lean, and Six Sigma principles (preferred). + Eligible to work in an ITAR-regulated environment. Work Environment The work schedule includes 1st shift starting between 7-8am and 2nd shift starting between 1-2pm, overlapping with the 1st shift. This position offers the opportunity to work with brand new machines and the newest technology in the industry.
