Join our team as an Engineering Technician 4, where you will work with state-of-the-art technology and equipment. You will play a crucial role in supporting the entire department, setting up machines, troubleshooting, and basic programming. This is an exciting opportunity to grow within our organization and work on cutting-edge projects in the chip-making industry.
ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate surface-mount technology (SMT) machines.Troubleshoot and perform basic programming on SMT machines.Rework capacitors and components.Support engineers in executing customer projects, including data collection for reports.Develop and lay out test plans.Maintain and support equipment on the production floor.Ensure quality of work while working independently.Essential Skills3+ years of relevant experience in a manufacturing/production environment or equivalent education and experience.Proficiency in arithmetic, including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing all units of measure, including decimals and fractions.Intermediate computer skills, including typing, Excel, SAP, and Outlook.Ability to train others effectively.Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.Fine motor skills for handling small parts and tools.Close vision, color vision, and depth perception; 20/20 corrected vision may be required in some divisions.Additional Skills & QualificationsAA or AS degree (preferred); high school diploma (required).Familiarity with IPC 610 or J standard certifications.Knowledge of SPC, FMEA, Lean, and Six Sigma principles (preferred).Eligible to work in an ITAR-regulated environment.Work Environment

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.86 - $32.32/hr.
