Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations._ **Responsibilities:** GENERAL SUMMARY: Develops, recommends, plans and administers promotional and recruitment needs to attract medical school applicants to the School of Medicine and Dentistry. Utilizes marketing principles to enhance web and social media outreach initiative for recruitment of applicants. Oversees campus visits and the interview process for prospective students. Researches and resolves complex recruitment challenges with the use of marketing data analysis. Works with Director of Admissions to reconcile financial accounts, running and reviewing monthly FAO reports. Provides input into budget development and alterations. Coordinates all aspects of the Meliora Prematriculation Course. Provides administrative support to the department as needed. **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS** + Manages 40+ admissions virtual interview days for prospective medical students. Schedules interviews for approximately 650 applicants and 250 faculty. Manages the interview day via Zoom, creating break-out rooms, welcomes applicants, and provides information at the close of their day. Updates interview related information in application software program. + With oversight by Director, reconciles accounts and reviews expenditures and balances. Investigates inaccuracies and works with Director to determine appropriate follow-up. Runs and reviews monthly FAO encumbrance balance reports created in URGems; analyzes and interprets data and provides recommendations on budget alterations as needed. Responsible for completing and submitting blanket purchase orders and utilizing P2P and PCard for ordering supplies and recruitment materials. In collaboration with the Director of Admissions, provides input into budget development, spend category oversight and adjustments. + Oversees all campus events for prospective students. Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all events run smoothly. Recruits, oversees and trains medical students for virtual and in-person tours and faculty for small group discussions. Coordinates in person and virtual recruitment opportunities including recruitment fairs, pop-up café’s, affinity group meetings and Second Look. Identifies skills and experiences of students/faculty and matches them with opportunities offered in our institution. + Develops, reviews, and disseminates social media content and digital information on various social media platforms designed to engage users and create interactive relationships between existing and potential medical students. Develops marketing materials for virtual and in-person medical student recruitment. Designs and disseminates interviewer newsletter. Works with internal stakeholders to manage the admissions website. + Provides administrative support to Associate Dean of Admissions and the Director of Admissions including managing meeting requests, scheduling travel, and drafting correspondence. Performs office tasks as needed including receptionist responsibilities. + Acts as the Admissions point of contact for a two week course offered to incoming medical students; coordinates all details including but not limited to arranging rooms in-person or virtually, confirming faculty participation, and arranging all social events, pre-and post-course assessments as appropriate. Distributes, collects, and charts results for pre- and post-survey. Corresponds with students regarding course expectations, registration, and follow-up. + Represents URSMD Office of Admissions to prospective students by creating and sharing information regarding admissions requirements and processes, enrollment, student experience, and alumni success. Maintains contact with prospective students by responding to phone calls and email messages, referring students to appropriate resources as needed.
