Overview The Associate works on a variety of client service projects under the supervision of more experienced Technical Managers. These projects include ongoing benefit administration updates and enhancements and system implementation and maintenance. Ongoing administration updates enhancements includes projects such as research and resolution of client reported items, enhancements to update client systems with client desired changes and special projects. System implementation includes new client pension administration services and products such as lump sum window functionality where responsibilities would be to define technical specifications, configure, program, test and implement same. All services are at the level appropriate to the individual’s knowledge and experience. The primary focus at the Associate level is to “Do” the work efficiently and effectively, with an eye towards improving processes. How you'll make an impact Define and execute data load processes both at conversion and for ongoing data loads Ability to analyze and present data results Understand a client’s functional requirements Work with the Tech Project Manager to clarify requirements. Execute programming, configuration and parameterization of pension administration implementation and existing client enhancements Create and maintain configuration documentation Be responsive to user and client acceptance testing feedback Provide support for the deployment (or migration) of new system updates into the production environment. Ability to perform strong debugging and problem-solving. Overall quality, on-time delivery, and accuracy of web site and related services Willingness to learn and grow in role Special projects or assignments as instructed by your supervisor/manager. Needs to properly handle data securely and encrypt electronic deliveries as required. About You Required: Bachelor's degree Strong programming, development and troubleshooting skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Detail oriented Facility to handle and manage multiple tasks simultaneously Ability to grasp and familiarize oneself with benefit/pension terms and concepts quickly Proficiency in Word, Excel or applicable software applications Strong organizational skills/time management Ability to work collaboratively on a client team while also independently completing assigned tasks Ability to commit to deadlines and deliver on a timely manner Exhibits true ownership and pride in work product and be accountable for assigned tasks Offers fresh ideas to tried-and-true approaches, while also learning when to accept direction Retains information well Asks insightful questions and applies knowledge to future situations Preferred: Defined Benefit pension plan experience Defined Benefit system implementation and enhancement experience #LI-SV2 Compensation and benefits On top of a competitive salary, great teams and exciting career opportunities, we also offer a wide range of benefits.
