Description

The Slotting Coordinator is responsible for managing efficient slotting of warehouse product locations through proactive use of AS400/DCMS to provide a more effective and efficient selector environment using Core Efficiencies and Golden Zone criteria, and meet / exceed customer satisfaction levels. They oversee the proper processes and use of the RF system and the accountability for training when corrective action is required. This position has a high accountability level to upper management.

Responsibilities:

Works with Operations Department Managers and Supervisors to improve production output and quality by slotting each line for maximum efficiencyWork with Inventory Control Manager to identify inventory discrepancies and take appropriate training and re-training action to improve root cause activityWorks to improve production output and quality through identification of slow, in-active or discontinued products, re-locating them to improve selector environmentProactively locate promotional products or IN-OUT distributionsWeekly focus on RF Audit ReportsWork with management to qualify or disqualify employees based on training outcomesPerform periodic analysis of product sales and determine changes to slotting placements. Prepare and present reports containing detailed informationOperate forklift, reach lift, scissor lift, pallet jack and other equipmentPerforms additional duties as assigned

Skills/Education/Requirements:

Must be self-disciplined and take action within parameters to ensure division success. Must be a team player. Production shift experience with working knowledge of all warehouse activities including AS400/DCMS and RF systems preferred. Must be able to efficiently utilize Microsoft office with a strong proficiency in Excel.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands and finger to handle objects, tolls, or controls; reach with hand and arms. The employee frequently is required to walk and stand. The employee is occasionally required to stop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must be able to stand and bend for up to ten hours. The employee must regularly lift a/o move up to 10 lbs., frequently lift a/o move 25 lbs., and occasionally lift a/o move up to 60 lbs.
