The Guest Service Shift Manager’s primary purpose is to ensure operational efficiency and an elevated customer service experience on the slot floor, at the Live! Rewards Center and during execution of all casino marketing promotions.   

Responsibilities

Where You'll Make an Impact:

Manages the Guest Services Department including staffing, regulatory compliance, marketing execution, Slot Operations and Live! Rewards operational and service execution.Assist in for preparing, planning and forecasting, and direct expenses.Leads a service culture and ensures superior customer service for gaming patrons with respect to the full gaming experience on the gaming floor.Ensures superior slot service for gaming patrons with respect to, but not limited to, machine functionality and jackpot payouts.Partners with marketing department personnel to plan casino marketing promotions, with an eye towards the guest experience.Takes ownership of the execution and success of the marketing promotion.Ensures labor standards are being met while staying within budgetary guidelines.Ensures compliance with regulatory controls both internal and external including but not limited to state and federal laws and the State Gaming regulations.Flawless execution of department strategies, policies and procedures, and internal controlsEnsure protection of the gaming assets, updating such as needed to align with best practices, maintaining high level of regulatory compliance.Hires, trains and manages staff in accordance with organizational and approved departmental standards, policies and programs.Ability to extend complementary services in accordance with the approved comp matrix.Reply to guest inquiries, surveys and other methods of inbound communication in a timely manner.Works with other departmental leaders to identify guest service improvements within their areas. Performs all other duties as assigned.

Must be proficient with all Microsoft software products.Ability to analyze and interpret departmental needs and results.Ability to solve complex problems.Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressures.Broad variety of tasks and deadlines requires an irregular work schedule.Ability to perform assigned duties in an interruptive environment.Accuracy in completing assigned duties in a timely manner.Ability to work in a high energy casino environment exposed to bright lights and noise.Ability to work in a smoking environment. Qualifications

Must-Haves:

Three (3) to five (5) years of experience within the Slot department or gaming areas of a casino.One (1) to three (3) years of experience as a supervisor.A four (4) year degree in related fields or equivalent work experience.You will be exposed to an alcohol and smoking environment and must be able to work in such environment. Must have the ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by Louisiana Gaming Control Board or any other applicable regulatory entity as may be required to perform assigned duties, or as required by Live’s operating standards.

 

Physical Requirements:

Casino is large and requires ability and energy to move about it with a true sense of urgency.Sitting 25%Walking 60%Standing 15%Keyboarding 25%Use of going up and down thirty-one (31) stairs multiple times per day and elevators.
