Location: Multiple Sites throughout the 5 boroughs
Salary Range: $80,000 to $90,000 per annum
Reports To: Director, SkillSpring SkillSpring is seeking an Associate Director to manage our youth and young adult development programs. The Associate Director will oversee programs including HHA and CNA certifications, internship programs, performance workshops, community outreach, alumni engagement, and volunteerism. This full-time role requires flexibility in working mornings, evenings, and Saturdays at multiple sites, with hours, days, and locations varying based on seasonal changes. Key Responsibilities: Partner with the Director to manage and implement all aspects of program activities, including recruiting students and employers, budget participation, and generating reports and statistics as needed. Ensure accurate collection, analysis, and management of data for internal and external reporting, improving mechanisms to ensure accountability and transparency. Develop and enhance tools to support SkillSpring in generating employment and economic opportunities, including communications collateral, reporting templates, policies, and protocols. Recruit, hire, manage, train, and develop staff, consultants, and interns. Assist in developing curricula for college prep, high school graduation, healthcare certification, alumni programming, college support, and workshops. Cultivate and maintain relationships with key strategic partners in education, career development, intergenerational programming, and youth development to ensure student/participant enrollment and retention. Represent SkillSpring at external functions, including meetings with TNJH leadership, Mayor’s Offices, and elected officials, some of which may be scheduled in the evening. Collaborate with the Development team to identify and increase government grants and donors, contributing to program fundraising goals. Develop and maintain relationships with TNJH leadership and departments, attending relevant meetings and retreats. Perform other related duties as required.
