Project Operations Manager

Your role and responsibilities

n this role, you will have the opportunity to coordinate and support site-works team in cost-effective execution related deliverables in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, schedule, and safety requirements. Each day, you will provide technical support for all site works related issues to the proposal team during bid preparation and to the Project Manager at the project start up. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring compliance with relevant cybersecurity regulations, standards, and contractual requirements. The work model for the role is: Hybrid {#LI-Hybrid}This role is contributing to the Electrification - Distribution Solutions business in ABB Perú. Your main internal stakeholders will be form the Customer Support, Project Management and Engineering areas; and external stakeholders are comprised of contractors and clients.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tVerifying project stages: Implementation of Medium Voltage solutions at the execution level, including the electrical, mechanical and metalworks areas.•\tLeadership and execution of electrical tests.•\tCoordinate activities with suppliers and internal/external Engineering teams.•\tVerifying the quality of the deliverables and products, and generating reports through Salesforce.

Qualifications for the role

You have over 3 years of experience in Medium Voltage projects, related (but not limited to): E-Houses, Mobile Substations and Cells, for the clients/end users from the mining and utilities segments.You have experience in: Execution of Primary and Secondary Injection tests, for both Low and Medium Voltage solutions; the implementation of remote monitoring systems (SCADA), and knowledge/experience in configuration of protection relays.You have knowledge of Protection Relays and Distribution or Power Transformers.You possess a professional degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electromechanical or Mechatronic engineering.Knowledge of Salesforce, AutoCAD and test equipment cases.You have strong communication skills, both in Spanish and English, have proven leadership skills and can work effectively in team environments.You possess availability to travel often.
