A prominent company in the electrical and energy sectors is seeking a Site Services Manager. The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent, with at least 6 years of experience in Site Services compliance in a transformer or manufacturing environment. This is an office based role.

The role involves managing processes from Ex works up to handover, warranty repairs, and condition monitoring. The manager will be responsible for coordinating site services facilities, managing site teams, and ensuring compliance with company regulations.

Key responsibilities include liaising with various departments, organizing the site team for installation and commissioning of transformers, and maintaining relationships with third-party service providers. The manager will also be responsible for providing cost estimates, managing budgets, and implementing project Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) action plans.

The candidate should be ready to multitask, run projects concurrently, and ensure budgets are accurately prepared and managed. They should also be familiar with ISO45001 and ISO14001 requirements and the company management system.
In terms of human resource management, the candidate will need to comply with the company’s Employment Equity and Skills Development Programs, institute training requirements for employees, and promote good relationships within the workforce.
