Pay Range: $82,649.00-$123,148.00

What you’ll be working on:

Supports Savers vision by incorporating aspects of software automation into IT support and engineering.  The goal of this role is to create scalable and highly reliable automated solutions that replace manual IT tasks that reduce administrative overhead and streamline operations.  Automation solutions will primarily be developed into areas of IT including networking, client and server systems, applications, communications, and service desk.  This role reports to the Senior Manager Software Engineering.

 

Essential Job Functions:

 

Develop and maintain tools to meet IT and business requirementsDevelop best practices for infrastructure as code and infrastructure automationCollaborate with software engineering to support CI/CD processesRegular analysis of automation toolsets for feature enhancements, streamlining performance, and improving the customer experience. Ensure that any required development is addressed and resolvedPartner with IT teams to analyze operations that leads to solution developmentResearch and evaluate new application packages and toolsWork and communicate at a technical level with vendor support services to troubleshoot issuesProvide on-going testing and research of existing solutions to increase security and least user access principlesMaintain detailed documentation of all job functions for use as reference material

 

What you have:

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
 Advanced experience writing scripts and/or compiled tools to solve problems in datacenter and corporate environments (i.e. PowerShell, Python, C#)Advanced knowledge of datacenter operations and systems administration in an enterprise environmentAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft enterprise products (i.e. Active Directory, Windows server/workstation OS, etc.)Working knowledge of enterprise networking (i.e. routers, switches, firewalls)Working knowledge of TCP/IP including sub-netting, and routing principlesWorking knowledge of network supporting services (i.e. DNS, DHCP, SNMP)Working knowledge of orchestration products and tools (i.e. VSTS, Puppet, Chef)Working knowledge of enterprise securityConceptual understanding of databases and database queriesConceptual understanding of monitoring tools and self-healing operationsDemonstrated skills in technical documentation.Demonstrated analytical, deductive reasoning and troubleshooting skillsDemonstrated organization skillsDemonstrated customer service skillsAbility to interact with personnel on all levels of the organizationAbility to work independently or as a member of the teamAbility to communicate orally and in writingAbility to set priorities, meet deadlines and multi-task with minimal supervisionAbility to be detailed-orientedAbility to research future hardware/software technologiesAbility to work within Savers culture

Minimum Required Education, Training and Experience:

3 - 5 years performing infrastructure administration (Systems, Network, Desktop) in a medium size corporate network-environment2 years professional experience with automation scripting or software developmentBachelor’s degree in computer science or related professional experience

Travel: 10% or less

Work Type/Location: SSC Bellevue, WA or SSC Boise, ID-Remote as needed
