About the Project:
Join a groundbreaking offshore wind energy project, contributing to Europe’s energy transition. This pioneering development involves constructing the world’s first artificial energy island, which will serve as a hub for offshore wind farms and future international electricity connections.
Your Role:
As a Site Project Engineer (Civil Works), you will oversee the construction of concrete caissons, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance. You’ll work closely with contractors, design teams, and HSE specialists to drive successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor on-site construction, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Conduct site inspections, safety walks, and quality assessments.
Communicate with contractors and manage documentation.
Identify and resolve technical issues, non-conformities, and design changes.
Assist in risk and schedule management.
Participate in project meetings and reporting.
What You Bring:
- 5+ years of civil construction experience (marine/offshore preferred).
- Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Strong teamwork, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience in concrete structure design and complex multidisciplinary projects.
- Fluent in English (Dutch preferred).
- Proficiency in MS Office.
Additional Info:
- Full-time, 5 days/week on-site in Vlissingen (occasional weekend work).
- Open to EU candidates or those with valid Belgian work permits.
