We are looking for a qualified Site/Mine manager to oversee operations in Thabazimbi.
The successful candidate will have the following:
– Diploma in Production/Operations Management or Mining Engineering
– At least 10 years of management-level experience in production, preferably
in a metallurgical or geological, environment
– Knowledge of the production environment and demands placed on managers
with regard to a continuous, high-volume process
– Strong leadership qualities required in a unionised environment
– Continuous planning of people-, process- and output requirements to meet
ever-changing customer needs and expectations
– Able to work under pressure and to deadlines
– Hands-on management skills required
