Our Opportunity:

Chewy is looking for a Site Merchandising Manager to join our Equine & Exotics team, based in Boston, MA or Seattle, WA. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of building the shopping experience for our quickly growing Equine & Exotics categories. In this role you will be responsible for understanding customer shopping behavior, developing merchandising strategies for our core shopping aisles, and building visibility for Equine & Exotics in top-of-funnel pages. You will iteratively test and learn to continuously optimize the site experience for our customer. You like to partner with cross-functional stakeholders and will collaborate to translate business priorities into onsite merchandising or product strategies. You are a critical thinker, organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable with ambiguity.                                        

What You’ll Do:

Own onsite merchandising for areas of Chewy you manageCreate a “best-in-class” site experience for customersDrive segment targeting and scalable content placementUse web analytics and data to guide ongoing site experience improvements and content optimizations that drive awareness and engagement with Chewy products and service programsDrive continuous learning and onsite experience excellence through iterative content experimentation

What You’ll Need:

College degree in business-related field4+ years’ work experience, with 2+ years in E-commerce and content managementStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work effectively cross-functionallyDemonstrate a data-driven approach to problem solving and prioritizationEquine experience preferred

Bonus:

Experience in E-commerce back-end operations and Google AnalyticsFamiliarity with SQL
