Position Summary:
The Mobile Site MCA Planner will support the Mobile Site Planning Team’s mission to integrate, consolidate and advise on the Infrastructure growth and Planning of the Site in line with the A220 & A320 Ramp-up, with specific focus on the operations of the Heavy Handling team in Trans-Shipment Operations of MCA’s (Major Constituent Assembly’s) and Aircraft movement.
Primary Responsibilities:
Heavy Handling Operations planning and control - 50%
Tactically plan (2-4 week horizon) and support the day to day operations of the Heavy Handling team.
Work with A220 Supply Officers to plan, forecast and receive A220 deliveries to the Mobile Site.
Work with A320 Central Transport team (OTD) to align on vessel scheduling and transport media return flows
Maintain a robust workload model for the Heavy Handling team to feed resource planning monthly governance with the ability to adapt for scenario creation as required
Ad-Hoc requests to support the Heavy Handling team as required
Site Infrastructure Planning vs Requirements from A220 & A320 Programmes. - 50%
Ability to visualize Requirements of both Production Programmes vs current Infrastructure planning
Manage baselines and ability to tell a coherent story on evolution of plans month to month where baselines have changed
Coordinate scenario generation/ analysis and control of buy-off processes
General understanding of infrastructure capability in the scope of Aerospace/ Aircraft manufacturing
MPS (Master Production Scheduling) – Understand inputs & Outputs from the A220 & A320 Programmes MPS’
Understanding and awareness of Inputs from local areas
Excel/G-Sheets scenarios/Tactical actualisation
Provide supporting inputs and assumptions
Be able to integrate multiple plans (A220 & A320) to conduct scenarios

Qualified Experience / Skills / Training:
Education:
A Bachelors' degree in Production Planning, Project management, Aeronautical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or an equivalent combination of experience and education
Experience:
1-3 years experience in Operations / Manufacturing or Manufacturing planning
Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities:
Demonstrate a core knowledge and understanding of manufacturing planning and processes
Show an understanding of KPI’s and an awareness of planning assumptions
Show a good understanding of handling data, including trend analysis
An ability to influence and challenge others, whilst managing stakeholder expectations
Demonstrate an understanding of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems (such as SAP) and proficiency in MS Office/G-Suite applications
Communication Skills (Spoken, Written, Influencing, Proficiency in Other Languages):
Ability to establish and maintain a good relationship with all internal customers
Must possess excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
Must be able to present clear and concise briefings and reports to customers and executives

Equipment Operation: Able to operate a wide range of tools and equipment including hydraulic lifts and arms.
Carrying: able to occasionally carry up to 20lbs/9kg while engaging in training, addressing production issues or as part of continuous improvement projects.
Lifting: able to occasionally lift up to 30lbs/14kg.
Pushing/Pulling: able to push/pull items in office areas and on the shop floor.
Sitting: able to sit for extended periods of time at the computer and in meetings.
Squatting/Kneeling: able to occasionally squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items shelved on bottom shelves.
Standing: able to stand for extended periods of time delivering information.
Travel/Mobility: able to travel overseas and domestically sometimes for extended periods of time and on short notice.
Walking: able to walk through office and production areas, around flight line and airstrips and sometimes on uneven indoor or outdoor surfaces other business interactions
Space Limitations: Working on jigs at the fuselage at a height of 15 feet.
