§ BTech or BEng Degree in Mechanical Engineering
· 2 -5 years maintenance engineering experience in chemical / glass / petrochem industry
· Code 08 or higher drivers licence
· Siemens Scada / PLC troubleshooting knowledge an advantage.

· Proficiency in English language verbal, written and presentation skills.

· Keep up to date with technology / application changes. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES SITE ENGINEER (WADEVILLE) 1. ENGINEERING MANAGEMENT
· Responsible for site maintenance team, activities, development and performance
· Direct and mentor the site R&M staff, identify people / team skill strengths and weaknesses and implement training programmes to improve their performance.
· Manages site assets and spare-parts systems.
· Ensure compliance to site ISO9001 systems wrt maintenance activities.
· Ensure site plant assets are maintained for optimum OEE
· Responsible to develop & improve engineering information systems e.g ePAC
· Responsible to develop, monitor and manage all engineering contractors performance against set standards.
· Formulates and implements initiatives to reduce Energy, Co2 emissions & wastage. EHS MANAGEMENT
· Ensure site complies with Engineering regulations under SA law and Clients standards.
· Assists with the development of local EHS standards
· Ensure EHS compliance is entrenched in all site R&M activities
· Responsible for site security processes.
· Ensure 5S housekeeping standards are implemented
· Ensures site Emergency teams are trained & capable
· Leads continuous improvement targets as outcome of regular EHS audits and reviews.
· Investigates site incidents and performs RCAs.
· Corrects EHS deviations within agreed timeframe.
· Takes personal proactive role to develop a site “Safety Culture” 3. PEOPLE MANAGEMENT

· Backup for Wadeville site Operations manager.
· Assist with Implementing new ISO standards for the site in the future.
