Site Automation Lead

Make It With Pride.** Overall responsibility will be to work with each of the multidisciplinary teams to lead, coordinate the digital transformation initiatives, automation upgrade and process visualization systems. Work with different departments to ensure all the new implementations follow global standards. Coordinate and plan electrical activities, training, and trouble-shooting electrical issues, including PLC or networks related. Utilize and improve current technology to provide continuous improvement to all maintenance and operation’s effectiveness using digital tools. Provide strong leadership, support, planning, direction and supervision to assigned hourly electrical team members. Program responsibility to include planning preventative/predictive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and equipment overhauls and upgrades as it pertains to the plant electrical systems **How you will contribute** You will: + Manages change/ transformation change/ transformation amongst the Operating teams in the implementation of IL6S-Integrated Lean 6 sigma phase journey, F-Factory of Future Line centric organization & roles (AM-Autonomous Maintenance, PM-Progressive Maintenance and an integrated 6 star model within operating Line teams) to progress into Self sufficient teams. Role models Values and principles through effective coaching, mentoring and development of the team. + Support the Manufacturing annual operational plans and targets to meet Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Sustainability, Engagement goals in line with the site Compelling business need. coach Line Leaders, cascade & communicate the plans and targets to employees to ensure alignment and understanding around priorities, focus and KPI’s. + Lead and be Accountable to establish a strong Governance to Review, Control Operational performance and Continuous Improvement plan and embed a zero loss mindset to constantly improve and deliver against best in class both internally and externally. Drive the Operating team to identify and manage improvements to technology, culture, capability and operating systems to deliver a best practice and reliable operation. + Support all Manufacturing standards, Governance, Compliance requirements (e.g. Corporate Quality, Food safety & GMP, Health, Safety, Security, Environment, Sustainability, Code of conduct, Policies & principles, Operational standards, Local legal requirements, Internal Audit norms, & other procedures updated from time to time) are in place, understood by all, and is regularly reviewed and monitored for effective implementation. + Lead and be Accountable for Talent, Capabilities & Engagement for the Manufacturing team - identify and implement critical levers to attract, retain & develop critical talent and builds capability at all levels, technical and behavioral, to build a sustainable workforce profile for the future. Partner effectively with all multi-functional peers internally & externally (outside the plant) to achieve objectives, goals and KPI’s. **What you will bring** A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career and the following experience and knowledge: + Strong operational & manufacturing leadership experience in CPG industry with experience in TPM-Total productive maintenance, 5s, LEAN, 6 sigma tools and concepts + Excellent communication (verbal & written), coaching, and leadership skills in a team-based environment. Demonstrated abilities in Analytics, problem solving and team building + An Engineer with a strong financial & business acumen, project management skills and Knowledge of industrial maintenance and manufacturing equipment. **Key Responsibilities :** + Digital advisor to help to identify projects for continuous improvement, waste reduction and performance improvement using digital tools + Multidisciplinary work to define and improve real time visibility across departments + Assess technical capabilities and definition of training roadmap for electrical team + Develop PLC (Allen-Bradly) and DCS (Foxboro) technical knowledge to be extended to the maintenance team + Develop and maintain personal technical knowledge in plant electrical and control systems + Develop disaster recovery plan for critical equipment + Provide technical support for maintenance team during assigned shift and on call support off shifts as required. + Coordinate with other departments to identify improvements. + Electrical site owner responsible to work with corporate team in all the electrical projects + Manage and maintain updated electrical and control documentation and resources + Coordinate with the site Safety Manager on electrical matters related to safety, power distribution, energy conservation, legal compliance, complaints, etc. + Complies with all current Federal, State, and Local government safety, health, and environmental regulations. + Develop preventive maintenance schedules for electrical distribution system, control equipment and instrumentation using CMMS + Develop & implement maintenance and inspection plans to ensure reliability, sustainability and security of electrical distribution infrastructure using CMMS + Ensures compliance to governmental regulatory OSHA and safety programs and processes. **Education / Certifications:** + Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or other related fields of study or in lieu of a degree 10 years industrial automation background with 5 years of Automation Management experience, and 2 years of Automation Transformation leadership with quantifiable results - **Required** **Job specific requirements:** + Experience in CPG Manufacturing + Proficient at analyzing problems based on data + Proficient troubleshooting skills + PLC’s Allen-Bradley all families ,VFDs Allen-Bradley and HMI’s Allen-Bradley + Industrial communication networks; Ethernet, DH+, RIO & ControlNet + Understanding of Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and server/client system + Experience with industrial power & control circuits + Experience with industrial instrumentation + Ability to read and understand schematics and electrical drawings. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills + Ability to work with minimal supervision and function effectively in a highly demanding environment. **Work schedule:** + Ability to work any shift . + On call for consultation during other shifts.
