Belmont University is seeking a dynamic and experienced Simulation Operations Manager (healthcare) with leadership capabilities to join our team. In this role, you will oversee day-to-day operations of our simulation systems while providing strategic leadership and guidance to the simulation operations team. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective use of simulation technologies, managing staff, and driving continuous improvement in simulation practices. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in simulation systems and proven leadership skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of simulation operations specialists and student workers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment for day-to-day activities and events.
2. Ensure all simulation equipment is functioning optimally through regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs, including coordinating with technical teams to manage software updates, hardware upgrades, and system enhancements.
3. Collaborate with simulation educators and faculty to ensure educational activities accurately reflect clinical situations and support learning objectives.
4. Lead training sessions for new users on the operation and use of simulation tools and technologies.
5. Foster positive relationships with users and stakeholders to ensure high satisfaction and effective utilization of simulation resources.
6. Implement best practices and standard operating procedures to maintain high-quality simulation outputs.
7. Collaborate and communicate with cross-functional teams by participating in meetings to understand their requirements, provide solutions, and give updates on simulation status, issues, and improvements.
