Simulation Engineer Co-Op

Emerson is looking for a Simulation Engineer Co-op for Spring/Summer 2025 to join our Marshalltown, IA team. We are looking for someone who is interested in gaining real-world experience in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Gain familiarity with the engineering simulation process Assist in automating engineering simulations for increased productivity Contribute to documentation to guide users in the application of automation tools  Participate in the continuous improvement of simulation specific technologies and processes Communicate with team members to maintain efficient flow of work through the group

Who You Are:

For This Role, You Will Need:

Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university Required Major(s): Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or similar engineering fields GPA: 2.5 or above Status: Junior or Senior Completion of the following courses is required for this position: Statics, Mechanics of Materials, Introductory Fluids.  Demonstrated experience using Python or other programming/scripting languages Commitment to full-time (40 hour) Spring (Jan 2025- August 2025) Co-op experience in Marshalltown, IA.  Legal authorization to work in the United States. Sponsorship will not be provided for this position.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

Experience with numerical simulations Experience with CAD software
