Job Title: Silicon Engineer
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Silicon Engineer to join our team. This role involves performing pre-formulation and lab scale formulation experiments, assembling and manufacturing platforms, and following recipes to create various chemical solutions for use in the lab. The ideal candidate will assist the product development team with projects and have experience in manufacturing.

ResponsibilitiesPerform pre-formulation and lab scale formulation experiments.Assemble and manufacture platforms.Follow recipes to create various chemical solutions for lab use.Prepare products for orders and manage supply chain for consumables.Assist product development team with projects.Document all study details and results in laboratory notebooks and batch records compliant with SOPs.Revise existing documents, processes, and methods to support process and product changes.Train and provide technical support to product and other technicians.Interface with contractors for platform assembly.Inspect PD equipment and instruments routinely, and inform supervisor of any malfunctions.Maintain current inventories of raw materials and product batches.Work on both ICV and Core Shell processes.Maintain lab and process areas clean and organized.Essential SkillsExperience in a manufacturing environment.Knowledge of biomedical engineering and biomedical instrumentation.Ability to assemble silicon vessels and flow systems for vessels.Chemical handling and formulation skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsAn entry-level engineer with an interest in this field will be considered.Work Environment

The work environment includes a lab setting where you will be handling various chemicals and formulations. You will be required to maintain a clean and organized workspace, inspect equipment routinely, and interface with contractors as necessary. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are paramount.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $31.00/hr.
