THE JOB:

Join our vibrant team at Excalibur as a Showroom Ticket Clerk and play a key role in creating unforgettable guest experiences! As a Ticketing Representative, you’ll be responsible for performing a variety of duties, including ticket sales for shows, events, exhibits, and attractions at Excalibur and other MGM Resorts properties. You’ll deliver exceptional guest service, exceed expectations in every interaction, and handle cash transactions with accuracy. Additional responsibilities include assisting with guest inquiries, verifying tickets for entry, and providing service recovery when needed. Working at Excalibur’s showroom, you’ll enjoy a dynamic, fast-paced environment where every day brings new opportunities to make a positive impact. THE STARTING RATE: $15 an hour
 

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Ticket Sales & Customer Service: Facilitate ticket sales for shows, concerts, events, exhibits, and attractions across all MGM Resorts properties, ensuring prompt, courteous, and efficient service.

Upselling & Cross-Selling: Promote additional events and experiences through upselling and cross-selling strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue.

Will-Call & Order Processing: Manage ticket orders, including will-call distribution, with accuracy and attention to detail for various events and attractions.

Ticket Verification & Safety: Verify tickets prior to guest entry, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and venue regulations.

Guest Assistance: Provide knowledgeable and detailed responses to guest inquiries regarding property facilities, services, and event details.

Complaint Resolution: Address and resolve guest concerns within the scope of authority, ensuring a positive customer experience.

Cash Handling & Transaction Management: Accurately handle cash, credit, and other payment methods, maintaining balanced cash drawers and transaction records.

System Operation & Accuracy: Operate multiple ticketing and computer systems efficiently and accurately.

Phone Etiquette & Assistance: Answer multi-line telephone systems using professional etiquette, assisting guests with inquiries and ticket reservations.


THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Age: Must be at least 18 years old.

Availability: Available to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with box office operations running from 11am to 1am.

Educationt: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.

Customer Service Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to provide exceptional guest service.

Ticketing Experience: Knowledge of ticketing systems and processes is preferred.
