The Safety Valve Assembler’s primary role is repairing safety relief valves to National Board VR Code, and to test safety valves with air, water, & steam.

As a Safety Valve Assembler, you will assemble complex components per assembly drawings / bill of material. Performs functional testing on assemblies. Tests assemblies per customer and/or division criteria. Operates test equipment in compliance with engineering standards. Applies settings, calibrates and maintains assembly tools. Performs torquing of various components. Distributes quality notifications (qn's).

As a Safety Valve Assembler, you will be responsible for:

Repairing safety relief valves to National Board VR CodeTesting safety valves with air, water, & steamReading and interpret manufacturers drawings and spring chartsUnderstanding of Steam boiler operating and testingApplying measurement & math skills to verify critical dimensionsPerforming machine and hand lapping of nozzles and discsPerforming valve write-up Understanding the Pressure and leak test valves to National Board, API, and ASME standards

To be successful in this role you will require:

Have a High School Diploma or higher1+ Years experience with the Assembly of Safety Valves is preferredExperience working with Dial CalipersExperience working with MicrometersExperience working with Consolidated products a plus
