Job Description:Theshop mechanicis responsible for inspections and mechanical adjustments, diagnose, repairs and part replacements for company fleet vehicles and heavy equipment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
+ Perform routine maintenance on machinery, company equipment, vehicle maintenance on company vehicles, fleet trucks ( i.e. mechanical work on brakes, fuel pumps, alternators, air conditioning, oil changes, tire balancing and rotation, replacing batteries, etc.)
+ Perform inspections and mechanical adjustments, diagnose, repairs and parts replacements for company fleet vehicles and heavy equipment.
+ Perform minor repairs (i.e. electrical components, power windows, power, mirrors, door locks, etc.)
+ Ensure repair orders are completed accurately including use of current parts and manufacturer updates and changes of vehicle requirements.
+ Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor.
+ Ability to pass a background check and drug test, valid driver's license and clean driving record. (Medical card a plus to drive a one-ton vehicle)

+ Basic computer skills, accurate data entry skills, math & mechanical aptitude, basic reading skills.
+ Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
+ A minimum of 5 years of experience working with heavy machinery and/or utility equipment.

May work with or around typical construction materials and chemicals that require knowledge of a safety data sheets.
