Job Title: Shop Helper
Job Description

As a Shop Helper, you will be responsible for daily lifting of 5-gallon buckets of paint, pouring them into mixing machinery, and mixing and blending paints per customer order. You will also be refilling paint containers, labeling them for shipment, receiving production from incoming trailers using forklifts, manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and pulling orders for will call, palletizing for shipping using paper order sheets. Additionally, you will assist in loading and unloading products as needed and perform general cleanup of the work area.

ResponsibilitiesLift and pour 5-gallon buckets of paint into mixing machinery.Mix and blend paints according to customer orders.Refill paint containers and label them for shipment.Receive production from incoming trailers using forklifts, manual pallet jacks, and hand trucks.Pull orders for will call and palletize them for shipping using paper order sheets.Assist in loading and unloading products as needed.Perform general cleanup of the work area.Essential SkillsExperience in production, general labor, warehouse shipping, lifting, mixing, blending, and general production.Comfortable lifting 60 lbs to shoulder height regularly throughout the day.Comfortable working around strong paint fumes (masks and respirators are provided as requested).High School Diploma (HSD) or GED required.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience operating forklifts, manual pallet jacks, and hand trucks.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
