Job Description

This position is open to assist with the increased workload in the shop, especially through the end of the year. The shop currently has a significant number of projects and requires additional help.

This entry-level position offers a great opportunity for those interested in getting into machining, tube bending, and other manufacturing skills. You will work in a dynamic environment with a variety of tasks and learn from experienced professionals in the field.

Work Environment

The work environment is industrial, dirty, and similar to a construction site indoors. Employees must be comfortable with a gritty metal shop environment where sparks fly and noise levels can get loud. Working hours are from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday. Candidates will collaborate with all employees on the floor, including machinists and welders, and must be willing to work where needed.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newark, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
