Summary You will serve as a Shipwright in the ???????Repair Department, Waterfront Services Division (Shop 64A) of TRIDENT REFIT FACILITY, BANGOR. Responsibilities You will position and build up keel blocks, bilge blocks and other structures upon which vessel will rest when water is pumped from graving dock. You will maintain overall alignment of ships and plots reference points and lines during construction or repair. You will perform layout, installation or patching of plastic laminates, hull insulation, sound damping, and septum plates. You will have a thorough working knowledge of the full range of hand and power tools, woodworking tools, machines, and techniques. You will determine the sequence of operations and necessary equipment for assigned jobs. You will read, interpret and work from process instructions, blueprints, drawings and sketches.
