Partner with the best

The Shipping Manager is responsible to organize transportation and related logistics of goods and services to and from internal and/or external customers on the assigned Area. He/she develops operational plan and supervises the plan actuation. Primarily responsible of the service level of the shipments of the assigned Area, also contributes to the sales plan and on time delivery targets.

As a Shipping Specialist, you will be responsible for:

Developing and leading end-to-end logistics solutions to achieve required on-time pick up & delivery of goods.Managing logistics Costs to meet budgets and Op Plans.Arranging shipments for exceptional transport (oversize and/or overweight, Project Cargo).Establishing effective communication and coordination with customer freight forwarders to ensure timely pick-up of materials.Supervising and collecting all the required documentation for the assigned shipmentsor management needs.Elaborating proposals for process improvement are expected taking into consideration broader functional context.Holding effective communication with other functional areas required. Influencing peers to meet the objectives.

To be successful in this role you will:

Have Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.Have at least 5 years of experience in Logistics.Have good working knowledge of principal modes of shipment; road, sea and airPossess considerable knowledge of documentation and international customs requirementsHave good knowledge/experience of Microsoft OfficeHave strong oral and written communication skills.Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Ability to influence others and lead operational tasks.Be able to maintain good communication skills in English (verbal and written) with both clients, suppliers and colleagues.
