SRC, Inc. is currently seeking a Shipping / Receiving Specialist that is organized and detailed orientated to efficiently manage inbound and outbound shipments. The selected candidate will be responsible will be responsible for loading and unloading packages, verifying shipment contents, and managing documentation associated with SRC’s processes. What You’ll Do Safely load and unload materials from vehicles, checking for accuracy and reporting any deficiencies in orderReceive and inspect incoming goods for accuracy and quality, and document in the company’s databaseVerify delivered items against purchase orders, and delivery documentationCoordinate with carriers for pickups and deliveries, ensuring timely and efficient transport of goodsCommunicate with suppliers and procurement to correct errors or provide missing documentationEnsure adherence to environmental management and systemsTroubleshoots shipping and receiving issues and work to resolveComplete and process required paperwork documenting materials picked up, shipped, received and issuedDelivery of mail including unclassified mail to the US Post OfficeWork with internal customer on shipping costs, options, and scheduleDistribute and maintain paper supplies to building copiersPerform other duties as assigned, including assisting the facilities department as neededCustomer Service and Teamwork:Maintain professionalism and a high level of customer serviceCommunicate effectively with internal and external customersUse initiative to seek continuous improvement and assist with implementation of improvement projects and other tasks as neededDemonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and a friendly and flexible demeanor
What You’ll Bring
