This position is required to be on-site.

The primary function of the Outpost Shipping and Receiving Clerk is packing and shipping container orders on a regular basis and maintaining inventory of supplies.

 

What you will do:
 

Sorting supply orders for clients, filling container orders and shipping on a routine basis.   Maintaining supply inventory by requesting needed items so they can be available without lost time.   Implement good housekeeping practices for assigned work area. Work in a fast paced, ever-changing environment and meet deadlines for kit requests from clients.   Ensure accuracy of kit orders for clients' use of containers in the field.  Communicate with the courier to ensure pickup and delivery of sample containers to clients in a timely manner.  Model our core value of safety by enabling a culture in which you are actively contributing to a safe work environment.  Other duries as assigned

What you will bring:
 

High school diploma or equivalent.  Ability to learn basic laboratory vocabulary and comprehend instructions.  Internal applicants may be considered in lieu of meeting minimum education and/or experience requirements.
