The Shipping Operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the forklift while performing the required warehouse tasks. Adherence to all company policies, including but not limited to Safety, Quality, Environmental, and Attendance, while on the premises.

Compensation: $24.05 with a shift differential of .35 when working 2nd shift
JOB DESCRIPTION
Must be able to work flexible hours (up to 12 hours per shift) including weekends. Safe operation of a forklift is critical to the shipping operation. Must be able to accurately load outbound trucks without damaging the material or the truck’s trailer. Must be able to unload inbound raw materials and miscellaneous shipments Must verify delivery quantities. Must be able to haul-out staged material without damage Must be able to consolidate stored material without mixing products or colors. Must be able to perform rework and clean-up duties. Must report any equipment problems or malfunctions to supervisor Perform other duties as assigned by supervision that are required for the success of the shipping/receiving operation Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment.ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
Manufacturing plant is not temperature controlled; dust, fumes, and high noise areas are present inside plant areas. Manufacturing processes involve granules, sand, fiberglass, asphalt coating, crushed rock, and polypropylene. Noise levels exceed 80 dB in some areas of the site. Moving equipment such as forklifts, buggies, genie booms, and industrial sweepers travel throughout the facility, sometimes in congested areas.
