Job Summary 

We are looking for an organised and detail-oriented Shipping Operative to join our logistics team. This role involves coordinating the smooth and efficient processing of shipments where you will be responsible for overseeing shipping documentation, liaising with carriers, and ensuring that all orders are processed on time and in line with customer expectations. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills and experience in logistics or shipping.

What you will be doing?

Process and manage shipping orders using company systems and software.Prepare, verify, and update shipping documentation,Liaise with global freight team to arrange collections and deliveries.Track shipments and provide updates to customers and internal teams.Ensure all shipping paperwork is accurate and complies with legal requirements and company policies.Resolve any shipping issues, delays, or discrepancies.Maintain accurate records of shipments and assist with inventory management when needed.Support the wider team with any administrative tasks related to shipping and logistics.

What we are looking for?

Previous experience in an office-based logistics, shipping, or similar role is preferred but extensive training given.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbalProficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and experience with shipping or ERP softwareAbility to work well independently and as part of a team.Attention to detail, particularly with documentation and data entry.Knowledge of international shipping regulations and customs processes is an advantage.
