  Position: Shipping Manager   Compensation: $67,000 to $75,000 annually    Core Responsibilities & Duties: Manage a team of logistics professionals to ensure organizational standards are met  Manage and execute warehouse activities under the supervision of the Operations Manager Supervise, coach, and train warehouse staff or other logistics specialists  Plan logistics, warehouse, and transportation activities  Develop, maintain, and improve key performance indicator (KPI) requirements  Ensure staffing levels are adequate and profitability is in line with goals  Assist to process daily shipments via common carrier, integrator and freight forwarder  Work within ERP, WMS, and MRP systems to ensure accurate inventory control  Optimize location to maximize efficiency and profitability  Maintain site certifications and records such as CTPAT, CFS, ISO, GDP, etc. as well as compliance with federal, state, and local requirements  Negotiate with suppliers  Monitor the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior area  Ensure routine maintenance on facilities and make repairs as needed  Ensure proper security measures for the workplace  Create reports on maintenance, repairs, safety and other occurrences for supervisors and other relevant staff  Prepare facilities for changing weather conditions  Collaborate with building owners and upper management on budgeting for facilities needs  Other duties as assigned  Job Requirements & Qualifications: Three years of experience managing a warehouse team Three years of experience in warehouse fulfillment Computer skills   Advanced level of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Power Point and Excel  SAP experience preferred but not required  Strong analytical, communication, and relationship skills  Familiarity with security measures and protocols  Able to work effectively in a highly cross-functional organization  Requires the ability to make judgments and work with minimum supervision  Strong ability to lead a successful team
