Verify ticket to stack of doors, verify door quantities and jetta mark match placard, visual quality check of doors/packaging/stacking, scan placard onto correct load, reroute doors that fail to meet quality standards, assist shipping loader in securing loads, verify doors are properly secured according to SOP.
Masterpack and scanner knowledge, procedure for verification of production tickets/placards, door types, quality specifications for visual checks, basic math, knowledge of defects. Knowledge of stacking, loading, securing loads SOP. Knowledge of many different door styles
Masterpack/scanner skills to enter counts, scan placards on to loads and read a tape measure to a 16th of an inch.
High level of responsibility, last person to see the doors. Ensure counts and doors types are correct. Check that stacking, packaging, securing, loading is in accordance with SOP's.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, Bending, twisting, stooping, reaching, dexterity climbing in/out of trucks, and standing for long hours.
Constant focus on quality, attention to details, accuracy of count, species, and loading accuracy.
Works with shipping loader, shipping team, expeditors, and other operations.
Works around cold/heat temps due to trailers being spotted in open doors - Can have extreme weather conditions. High traffic area.
