Shipping Associate

Position:         Shipping - Logistics

Reports To:    Logistics Manager via Logistics Supervisor

Shift:   3-2-2-3 12 Hours Shift

Position Description:

Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (weigh, load, pack, wrap, label, ship) Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers. Conduct physical inventories and cycle counts according to schedule. Be qualified to operate a forklift as needed. Work to maintain 6S/Safety Standards. Other duties as assigned by the supervisor or a member of management.

Education:

            Required:        High School Diploma or GED

Tow Motor experienceService-oriented attitudeEffective communication skills

Knowledge of basic warehousing, storage, and distribution methods and procedures

Skills/Attributes:

Solid work history that demonstrates reliability and warehouse work experience. Demonstrated commitment to data integrity. Effective organizational and time management skills and ability to work with little supervision. Attention to detail. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
