Our client in the Phoenix, Arizona area is looking to hire a Shipping Associate for their location. Prior experience in warehouse operations, shipping, or logistics is often preferred. Responsibilities for this position include receiving incoming shipments, verifying contents against packing slips, and unloading them safely.

The Day-to-Day:

Preparing packages for shipping, ensuring they are properly secured and labeled with accurate shipping addresses and tracking information.Preparing shipping paperwork, such as shipping labels and customs forms.Using equipment such as pallet jacks to move and handle materials efficiently.Keeping the shipping area clean, organized, and free of clutter.Using electronic scanning tools and management software to track shipments and manage inventory.Processing returns to vendors, ensuring proper documentation and packaging.Adhering to all warehouse safety procedures and guidelines.

Qualifications:

High School DiplomaEssential for accurate paperwork and product handling.Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and lift moderate weights.Ability to work effectively with other team members.Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and customers.Must be willing to work a Part-time schedule
