Shipping And Receiving Worker
**Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Worker** **Job Description** To ensure all products are shipped to the proper customer, with proper instructions and all required export compliance documentation, in a timely manner according to the open shipment report. Assist as needed. **Responsibilities** + Maintain the warehouse in an orderly and safe manner; follow all company safety procedures; perform daily safety inspections. + Package and ship all material on open shipper to ensure product is shipped within 24 hours. + Process Pick List, issue material to M-Order, receipt from manufacturing of finished goods, and receive in hardware. + Perform cycle counts, pull stock inspections, and perform material purges as required. + Back up and assist Raw Material Handler as required. + Perform OT as required by workload, must be pre-approved. + Perform other duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Ability to be forklift certified. + Experience with inventory/cycle count. + Experience with UPS and FedEx shipments. + Adheres to all company safety practices and procedures including safe operation of equipment used in warehouse. + Required to perform basic math; read and follow instructions; and understand multi-step written and oral instructions. + Be computer proficient (Windows/MS Office/ERP). + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment (especially at month-end). + Must be highly organized and detail-oriented. + Minimum of 1 year of experience required. + High school diploma or GED preferred. + Ability to operate and maneuver warehouse equipment, including, but not limited to, pallet jacks, forklifts, and push carts, in the manner necessary to move materials and consistent with manufacturers’ instructions and safety instructions. + Ability to abide by safety instruction and use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) or its equivalent is required. + Knowledge of basic warehouse procedures. + Ability to follow procedures for receiving, selecting, packing, and shipping. + Ability to communicate with other team members and work with little or no supervision. + Ability to successfully comply with regulatory requirements. + Ability to perform physical requirements. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in assembly and general work in a shipping department/warehouse. **Why Work Here?** We offer a dynamic work environment where safety, organization, and detail orientation are highly valued.
