Are you detail-oriented, organized, and ready to contribute to the seamless flow of goods in a fast-paced environment? PDS Tech Commercial is looking for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our growing team in the Consumer Products Industry. As part of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that shipments are processed efficiently, accurately, and in a timely manner.
 
What You’ll Do: Verify Shipments: Compare identifying information and ensure counts, weights, and measurements match shipping records, such as bills of lading, invoices, or orders. Coordinate Shipping: Determine the best method of shipment by evaluating routes, procedures, and rates to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery. Prepare Shipments: Label, pack, and secure items for shipment, ensuring protective padding, spacers, and fillers are properly applied. Inspect Incoming Shipments: Unpack, examine, and verify incoming goods for accuracy, handling any discrepancies by coordinating with shippers for replacements or corrections. Maintain Inventory: Track shipping materials and supplies to ensure we’re always ready for the next shipment. Operate Equipment: Safely operate tier-lift trucks or handtrucks to move shipments to storage or designated work areas. Who You Are: Qualifications: High school diploma or general education (GED) Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Skills & Experience: 0-5 years of experience in shipping and receiving or a related role Ability to follow shipping instructions and adhere to safety standards Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively

Pay Details: $10.00 to $30.00 per hour
